Education

The awareness, communication and education activities aim to inform citizens about the importance of grouping and recycling waste, stimulating their active participation in this process, for example, through the adequate guidance of these waste.

Novo Verde will be responsible for taking on several activities and/or campaigns targeted at the different intervenients in the packaging life cycle (consumers, packers and/or importers of packed goods put on the market, SGRU, packaging and packaging raw materials producers).

One of the initiatives that is already underway is the Geração Verdão, directed to the Primary Schools and in partnership with the Eco-Schools Program.

Geração Verdão intends to work concepts related to the separation and recycling of packaging and to instill good practices in the daily life of children (and adults) through a kit composed of several materials, available at www.geracaoverdao.pt.
